9K a year Seasonal Assistant Farm Manager Are you pursuing a career in farming or ag education? This position might be a great stepping stone and addition to your resume! Balance learning with leadership working at our community farm for a season.
Tasks include:
animal care; gardening and community garden supervision; running farm programming for intersession, preschool, afterschool and farm school; and other tasks as needed.
Applicant must be comfortable learning to drive a tractor and doing hayrides.
Desired qualities:
self-motivated, positive attitude, leadership skills and eagerness to learn! Some experience and/or education in gardening, farming, and working with children preferred.
Hours range from 20-33hrs/week; average will be 25hrs a week.
